Ghana Premier League side, Medeama SC has announced parting ways with six senior players.

Footy-Ghana.com understands that most of these players refused to renew their contracts with the two-time FA Cup winners.

Centre-back Paul Aidoo, who was declared a free agent by the Ghana FA’s Player Status Committee on Thursday, leads the group of players confirmed by the Tarkwa-based club.

There is also Ghana’s 2009 Fifa U-20 World Cup winning squad striker Latif Salifu as well as the versatile Francis Addo who scored the vital goal against Hearts which kept the Mauve and Yellow’s premiership status last season.

Midfielder Edmund Owusu Peprah and defenders Samuel Adade and Daniel Ocran complete the list.
