Champions Aduana Stars have successfully moved to tie goalkeeper Joseph Addo down to a new contract.
The club’s safest pair of hands, on Thursday, signed to renew his stay after they agreed to pay a few around GH¢90,000 over a three-year period, sources say.
Addo joined the Fire Club two seasons ago after growing discontent over limited playing time at Asante Kotoko. He pushed through a move to the Dormaa-based club and has since been on top form, gaining consistent invitations to the senior national team.
Joseph Addo capped a wonderful season with the Ghana Premier League title for Aduana Stars and will be looking forward to participate in the Caf Champions League competition next year.
It is also understood that Aduana are preparing to extend the contracts of other key players like Sam Adams, Emmanuel Akuoko and striker Derrick Sasraku before venturing into what has been described as a massive squad boosting exercise for their upcoming campaigns.
