The Black Starlets of Ghana rode on a brace by skipper Eric Ayiah to enter the knockout stages with a 4-0 victory over India in their final Group A match of the Fifa U-17 World Cup on Thursday.
Ayiah struck on either side of the break (43rd, 52nd minutes) as Ghana finished the group stage with six points from three matches.
Second half substitutes Richard Danso (86th) and Emmanuel Toku (87th) scored in quick succession towards the end.
Ghana top the group followed by Colombia who defeated the USA 3-1 in the other match. The Americans could still qualify to the Round of 16 as one of the best third placed teams in the group stage of the U-17 World Cup.
