Chelsea boss Antonio Conte is reportedly sending scouts to watch Ghana striker Richmond Boakye-Yiadom feature for Red Star Belgrade in the Europa League next week.
Premier League giants Arsenal travel to face the Serbians at the Rajko Mitic Stadium on Thursday.
The Italian has his eye on a striker in the winter transfer window and thinks the Europa League clash provides the perfect chance for his scouts to see Boakye in action.
The 24-year-old has scored 14 league goals in 13 appearances since joining Red Star in January on loan, and could provide perfect back-up for Alvaro Morata.
Boakye has been on Conte’s radar for the past five years after his brief spell at Juventus, and the Italian will be keen to see how he gets on against a top Premier League team.
Chelsea currently have Alvaro Morata who joined from Spanish giants Real Madrid as their standout striker. And Morata is currently suffering with a hamstring injury, which has exposed the lack of depth up front for the Blues.
