World football governing body, Fifa has cited Ghana among countries for violating its rules in the ongoing 2018 World Cup qualifiers.
While eight African nation suffered sanctions from Fifa, Ghana, the three-time World Cup campaigners managed to escape with the least, a WARNING.
Ghana emerged in the tall list of violators for breaching articles 5 and 25 of the regulations of the 2018 World Cup qualifiers.
The Fifa Disciplinary Committee said the West African giants failed to hoist national flags during their 1-1 draw with Congo at the Baba Yara Sports Stadium in September.
Ghana’s Group E opponents Uganda and Congo also received warnings for their failings.
Meanwhile, countries like Mali, Nigeria, DR Congo, Zambia, Morocco were handed fines for their various offences.
