Ghana Under-17 coach, Samuel Paa Kwasi Fabin is calling for every kind of support to the team in their final preparations to the upcoming Fifa World Cup in India.
The Black Starlets, who won silver at the Afcon in Gabon, have been preparing in Prampram for the past few weeks ahead of the tournament in October this year.
There are plans to airlift the team to Europe [Denmark and Spain] to roundup preparations with series of matches to get the team in shape.
After the National Sports Authority (NSA) boss, Robert Sarfo and his entourage visited the team and presented assorted drinks this week, coach Fabin appealed for more of such gestures.
“We have been neglected too far,” the coach said.
“When we were playing in Gabon, we heard all kinds of comments but nobody knows how we are preparing. So we are calling on people to come on board to support the team.
“We need a lot of things so their support will well appreciated,” he added.
The Starlets, housed in Group A, will play their opening match on October 6 against Colombia, followed by United States of America three days later, before playing host nation India on the 12th.
