Hours after squandering a sitter in the Super Clash, Kotoko striker Sadick Adams is still astounded as to how his late chance failed to find the back of the net.
Sadick has been a thorn in the flesh of the Phobians since joining the Porcupine Warriors and his inclusion in the game meant no time to rest for the Hearts trio of Robin Gnagne, Vincent Atinga and Richard Akrofi.
His skill on the ball proved a constant threat for Kotoko as well as his excellent set piece delivery.
And when Kotoko were awarded a penalty, it came as no surprise the former Atletico Madrid man dispatched the kick with ease.
His day could have gone from good to better when he had a virtually empty net at his mercy but he surprisingly dragged his shot wide much to the shock of the fans at the stadium and Sadick Adams himself.
‘’We dominated the game but a few mistakes we made resulted in the draw. At least I should have scored the last goal so I take the blame for it but we will correct our mistakes and get better in the next game,’’ Sadick told Footy-ghana.com.
“Physically some of the players (Kotoko) got tired but all the same we fought throughout the 90 minutes and we got the equalizer after going down so all the players deserve an applause,” he added.
Kotoko play WAFA next in another outstanding Ghana Premier League match day 24 fixture.
