Majeed Waris: West Brom, West Ham and Burnley chase Ghana striker

Ghana international Abdul Majeed Waris is courting interest from Premiership clubs West Bromwich Albion, West Ham and Burnley.

The Lorient striker is yet to return to full action for Les Merlus but has been training with the team for the past few weeks.

Waris, 25, made 35 appearances in the French Lig 1 last season and scored nine goals and made five assists.

Lorient is reportedly not willing to let their star man leave without cashing in on him, and have slammed a £12m price tag on the former Trabzonspor attacker.

A return to England could be on the cards after having trials with Manchester City at age 17. With Nacer Chadli set to leave West Brom, the winger could be a possible replacement.
