Kotoko set to sign Ollenu and Opare

Kumasi Asante Kotoko is on the verge of completing the signing of duo Ashittey Ollenu and Seth Opare.

Opare, who played for Aduana Stars in the 2015/2016 league season will want the remaining two weeks of his contract with the Ogya lads to elapse before committing himself to the Porcupine Warriors – to avoid breaching any FA regulations.

Ollenu on the other hand refused to renew his contract with regional rivals Hearst of Oak after spending the last three years with the former league champions. The speedster has been training with Kotoko since December and has already featured in a trial game – scoring a brace against lower-tier side Quam FC.

Footy-ghana.com understands talks are far advanced for the duo’s transfer after they impressed at training.

The ‘Club of the Century’ have already secured the services of combative Medeama midfielder Kwame Boahene last month. Other additions include Prince Acquah, Isaac Quansah and Conney Idan after the G-6 tournament.
