The Ghana Football Association (GFA) has unveiled a new Artificial turf at the Ghanaman Soccer Centre of Excellence in Prampram.
The facility was commissioned during the ordinary congress on Monday 12th December, 2016 by the president of the FA, Kwasi Nyantakyi.
According to him, the project which is worth $500,000 will be a camping base for the various junior base teams with the hope that they can develop their skills with the facility.
“This is the fourth pitch we have here. We are developing a fifth one and this is the first artificial turf that we’re having here and it’s worth half a million dollars ($500,000) and this is the best artificial turf that FIFA can offer you. It was done through the FIFA goal project”.
The turf is expected to enhance the development of skills of the players who will be basing there.
