Ghana’s final squad for U-20 WWC in Papua New Guinea

Five foreign-based players have earned places in Ghana’s final squad for the 2016 Women’s Under-20 World Cup in Papua New Guinea.

Coach Mas-Ud Didi Dramani has also promoted the captain of the Black Maidens, Sandra Owusu Ansah into the Black Princesses team.

The team will be embarking on their fourth successive campaign and the former Kotoko coach is banging his hopes on this final 21-member squad for the campaign:

Goalkeepers:

Victoria Adjei (ZFK Obilic, Serbia), Azume Adams (Ange IF, Sweden), Rose Baah (Samaria Ladies)

Defenders: 

Rita Darko (Hasaacas Ladies), Vinoria Kuzagbe (Ideal Ladies), Belinda Anane (YoungStown State, USA), Faustina Ampah (Blessed Ladies), Vida Opoku (Ladies Strikers), Kate Adu-Agyeman (Ashtown Ladies)

Midfielders:

Rashida Abdul-Rahman (Lepo Ladies), Fatima Alhassan (ZFK Obilic, Serbia), Patience Adjetey (Inter Royal Ladies), Ernestina Abambila (YoungStown State, USA), Lily Niber-Lawrence (Hasaacas Ladies), Sandra Boakye (Fabulous Ladies), Samira Abdul-Rahman (Lepo Ladies), Wasila Diwura-Soale (Hasaacas Ladies)

The Black Princesses will be facing France, USA, and New Zealand in Group C of the tournament that will take place from the 13th November to 3rd December 2016.
