Yaw Yeboah joins FC Twente on loan

Ghana youth international Yaw Yeboah has joined Dutch side FC Twente on loan from Manchester City for the 2016/17 season.

Both clubs announced reaching an agreement via their various media platforms Thursday.

The 19-year-old, who can play as a forward through the middle and on both flanks, was signed by Manchester City from the famous Right to Dream Academy in Ghana two years ago.

After excelling at the 2015 Fifa U-20 World Cup, Yeboah earned a loan deal with French side LOSC Lille. He started off well and copped some minutes under coach Herve Renard but went down the perking order when a new coach took over.  He managed to play only 174 minutes for the Ligue 1 side during his loan spell.

Yaw Yeboah will have to undergo a mandatory medical test next week to complete his season-long loan switch.

He is currently in the Ghana u-20 team camp preparing for Friday’s crucial 2017 Africa Under-20 Cup of Nations qualifier at home to Senegal. The Ghana side needs at least two unanswered goals after going down 1-3 in the first leg few weeks ago.
