GPL: Prosper Nartey positive Dwarfs can survive the drop

New Ebusua Dwarfs coach, Prosper Nartey, is optimistic of reviving the club’s fortunes following the 2-1 triumph over Aduana Stars in the Ghana Premier League on Wednesday.

Nartey is in charge on an interim basis following the sack of JE Sarpong in the aftermath of the 3-0 loss to Asante Kotoko on matchday 11.

A lecturer at the University of Cape Coast, Nartey has overseen three matches since assuming duty, winning one, drawing one and losing the other.

“We created more chances than they did and am not surprise we won by two goals to one,” the tactician said after the game.

“I think is a good one. It will motivate the players and the technical bench that, all is not lost and we can do better. If that is achieved, we are likely to win more matches and stay in the league.

“I think the Premier League is a different ball game in terms of quality of players and technical men.”

Dwarfs are 14th on the league table with 13 points.
