Herbert Addo leaves Inter Allies

Veteran coach Herbert Addo appears to have parted ways with Inter Allies after guiding the side to amass nine points from the opening 10 games of the 2015/16 Ghana Premier League.

The club’s management is said to have engaged the coach in a meeting right after the side drop points against league debutants Techiman City in a 1-1 draw at the Tema Stadium last Sunday where a decision to part ways is suspected to have emanated.

Footy-GHANA.com understands that the team was given a rest from training on Monday but returned to the absence of coach Addo on Tuesday.

According to our checks, the 2009 league winning coach (with Aduana) who has endured difficult time building a winsome side in his second stint with the ‘Eleven Is To One’ has indeed left the club.

Snippets of information gathered indicates that the recently returned coach Rashid Iddi has been favoured to take up the mantle but the former Black Queens assistant will politely reject the offer to be the main boss due to his role as a chief moslem priest which may not permit him to be at the club regularly. Coach Iddi who assisted Paa Kwesi Fabin last season recently took a break from the job after his appointment as deputy chief Imam for the Central Region.

Coach Iddi is expected to lead Inter Allies to face WAFA SC in a match day 11 away fixture after which the club could be ready to announce the appointment of a new head coach.
