I never said “I’ll win the league and FA Cup” – Yatsuhashi

Hearts of Oak’s trainer Kenichi Yatsuhashi has taken to twitter to deny he promised to win the double for the clubs when he took over.

Yatsuhashi walked out of the post-match press conference in Techiman after he was asked whether he was still confident he would win the premier league and FA Cup titles.

Hearts of Oak are second on the premier league log following their 1-1 draw against Techiman City. The Phobians have also been drawn against division one outfit Samartex FC due to be played this weekend.

Yatsuhashi is alleged to have promised to deliver the double in his first season when he took over the Hearts job. But the Japanese trainer has found himself consistently irritated by questions about the supposed promise. And he has now taken to social networking site twitter to deny he made any promise, as well as threatening to walk away if that question is ever put to him again.

“Do you think you can still win the league (or FA Cup)? Ask me anytime you want; I will just walk away,” Yatsuhashi wrote on twitter.

“I never said I’ll win the league and FA Cup,” Yatsuashi concluded.
