NEW BOYS: Highly-rated Isaac Twum joins Inter Allies; Baah to follow

Young midfielder Isaac Twum has completed a switch from relegated Heart of Lions to Tema-based Inter Allies.

The 17-year-old had been on the radar of big boys Asante Kotoko this off season but a $50,000 price tag slapped on him deterred the porcupine warriors from further pushing for their target, footy-Ghana.com understands.

Twum, after his MRI controversy which courted Ghana a disqualification from participating in the Africa U-17 Championship earlier this year burst into the limelight with eye-catching displays for Lions in his debut season in the Ghana top-flight during the 2014/15 Premier League.

This past summer, he was rewarded with a trail opportunity with Belgian giants Club Brugge but could not land a deal with the side.

Footy-Ghana has established that the Koforidua-born attacking midfielder whose transfer agreement was sealed during the past week is expected to arrive at the camp of the ‘Eleven is To One’ on Sunday before joining his new teammates in training the following day.

Inter Allies have not only captured the signature of Twum but have also augmented their goalkeeping department with the signing of Kwame Baah from the Lions camp. Baah is one of the young shot-stoppers in the system and has consistently been an integral member of the Ghana Under-20 team for the past two years. He is scheduled to officially join his new club during the coming week.

Inter Allies, after reappointing veteran coach Herbert Addo, are keen on fortifying their squad for the 2015/16 season after selling about five players to foreign clubs.
